Grower Notes

All plants in this update have been grown in our UK greenhouse in strong natural light, with full sun where appropriate and shading during heatwaves. They are grown hard in a mineral-heavy cactus mix with good airflow, careful watering, and a dry winter rest.

Sent bare root unless otherwise stated. Please allow for normal seasonal changes in colour, firmness, flower remains, wool, and minor cosmetic marks on mature Lophophora.

Care Notes

Grow in a gritty, free-draining mineral mix with strong light and good airflow. Water cautiously during active growth and keep dry over winter. Older corking, dried flower remains, and cosmetic age marks are normal on mature caespitosa clumps.

Absolute gem of a plant! I couldn't be happier with this mature, Old Boys naturally grown Lophophora williamsii (Peyote) var. caesapitosa adult..It arrived extremely well-packaged and is in fantastic health and transferred really well to its new home and pot, showing fantastic age character with its Multiheaded many pupped growth and dense, soft tufts of wool on the mature buttons.

Mine features a prime central head surrounded by a generous cluster of healthy, firm pups. You can tell it was grown with care and patience over the years and its growth looks like it has been natural and gradual over many years with proper light and seasonal care the taproot and roots are also strong and long and was easy to repot.

The Communication from Byron from Cactocereus was top-notch, and he kept me informed on the delivery and purchase details....Highly recommended for any serious collector looking for an authentic, established clump with true age and personality!
