Extremely Rare Oz Genetics, Trichocereus bridgesii semi monstrose “Kai Funky Lumpy”

Sizes:

  • 01 – 15cm Tip

Please select the cut number you would like, the images will filter so you can see each plant. Some of the pups took a hit over winter and you can see the healed over previous damage.

Note: I will cut these to order, they will need a week to dry out before shipping.
Note 2: I realise it is quite pricey, but, I paid $500 for a 10″ cut last season, this is cheap as for this particular genetic.

If you have any questions around substrate or anything, please use the contact form and I will be happy to help with any questions.

Kai Funky Lumpy History

Another very rare and sought after clone. This clone was originally isolated by a well known grower in Victoria, Aus over a period of 3 years to isolate the variegated growth. He would be classified as “semi monstrose”, which means it still maintains its columnar growth.

As far as I know, I am the only person in the UK that has this particular variegated clone.

Steps For Rooting

Once the cut is received, place it around 1/2 inch to 1 inch in a pot of substrate. I use wooden kebab skewers to hold up the piece. Water lightly and you should start getting new root growth within a few weeks to a few months depending on conditions.

An alternative way would be to stick them in perlite and wait for them to root, once roots form you can re-pot.

All plants sold are strictly for garden / ornamental purposes. We are here to cultivate these beautiful plants and spread them as far as we can, nothing outside of growing (all things related to growing) will be tollerated.
