Overview
A large, mature Lophophora williamsii var. caespitosa specimen with a serious old clumping form. This plant has a broad, settled mound of blue-green heads, visible age, and the kind of presence that makes it better suited to its own listing than being tucked into the smaller old-boys group.
Specimen Details
- Approx. 17 cm x 13 cm clump spread
- Mature caespitosa form with dense clustered growth
- Grown in our UK greenhouse in strong natural light
- Exact plant shown in the photos
Grower Notes
All plants in this update have been grown in our UK greenhouse in strong natural light, with full sun where appropriate and shading during heatwaves. They are grown hard in a mineral-heavy cactus mix with good airflow, careful watering, and a dry winter rest.
Sent bare root unless otherwise stated. Please allow for normal seasonal changes in colour, firmness, flower remains, wool, and minor cosmetic marks on mature Lophophora.
Collector Appeal
A substantial caespitosa specimen with scale, age, and texture. The spread and density make this a proper statement plant for a Lophophora collection.
Important Notes
Natural corking, old flower remains, seasonal colour shifts, and cosmetic age marks are normal on mature Lophophora. This listing is for horticultural and collector cultivation only.
