Lophophora williamsii – Triple Headed

  • Locality: San Ignacio, Texas
  • Length: 16cm
  • Main Head: 6.5cm

His age is unknown, but, I would say he was at least 25 years old. Please have a look at the images supplied. You can see the previous mite damage from a few seasons ago. He is nearl fully rid of the previous damage.

Lophophora Care

  • Substrate: Very gritty mix with little to no organic material (fertilise with each feed)
  • Watering: Spring to Autumn (April to September), infrequently. They can handle a lot of moisture but if things go south, they go south quickly. Best to abuse over baby them.
  • Light: Natural or artificial (while young), South facing window or greenhouse.
