Lophophora williamsii are very slow growing, small, spineless cacti that originate out of Mexico and Texas. They are used to growing in the most arid of regions and have adapted to requiring very little water to survive.

Largely due to over hunting / poaching in their natural habitat, Peyote have become an endangered species in the wild.

Lophophora Care

Substrate: Very gritty mix with little to no organic material
Watering: Spring to Autumn (April to September), infrequently
Light: Natural or artificial (while young), South facing window or greenhouse.
