Sausageplant

History

Sausage Plant is a bit of a conundrum as no one can seem to decide if he is a short spine Tr. peruvianus or Tr. pachanoi. This clone may well be a peru / pach hybrid. This particular clone came out of Robert Field’s garden, South Australia, a very well known and respected grower in the space. Sausage was first found and named by an Australian collector named Gussy.

Sausage is an interesting plant as he can go very glaucous as well as show semi monstrose characteristics. The tip can also terminate and pup out again, creating the look of a sausage.
